Ah, it’s weekend again! Finally, some time to relax or do something fun! What are you doing this weekend? Maybe you’ll spend some quality time with your family and friends? Or, you’re going to spend your precious free time relaxing somewhere outside? Or maybe you’re gonna try to catch up all the work you haven’t manage to finish during the week? Whatever it may be, the weekend is there to let you recharge your batteries and refuel you for the week ahead of you. However, it’s easy to slip into doing more work or just pointlessly napping and eating junk food, without any quality time and, before you know it, Monday is here and you’re exhausted. Don’t let it happen.

Have a Quality “Recharge Time”

Here is a list of activities you can incorporate in your weekend to make it your “refresh and reset station”.

  1. Make time for important relationships
  2. Devote yourself to the hobby you’re passionate about
  3. Discover a new place (a park, forest, lake, city, country…)
  4. Turn down your screens and unplug
  5. Connect with the arts
  6. Meditate
  7. Read a book
  8. Take a long walk
  9. Write a journal
  10. Take a short nap
  11. Volunteer
  12. Learn something new
  13. Cook a new dish
  14. Spend a short time planning your next week (having a plan is always good; overplanning is not)

So, what will your Saturday and Sunday include this weekend? Whatever it is, remember to be grateful for the good things in your life. And also remember: Make time for yourself.
