Grief counselling can help you understand that grief is a normal, natural response following the death or loss of someone we love. It is important to realize that there is no right or wrong way to grieve. Our grief is dependent on our unique relationship with the person who has died, or is no longer in our life, as well as our own personality. It is helpful to have someone to remind you of these things and to walk with you through the wilderness of grief.
Grief and loss counselling can also be applicable for those who have just gotten out of a relationship. The ending of a relationship is a difficult transition, and the pain that can come with loosing a loved on can often feel unbearable. But, know that with counselling, and time, the pain won’t be as strong and you’ll be able to move past the discomfort and embrace your life.
