It’s a sad day in the world of Psychology – as we heard of the passing of Dr. Sue Johnson yesterday, April 23, 2024.

Dr. Johnson’s teachings influenced not only my work as a Registered Psychotherapist, but also my romantic relationship with my husband Aaron. Us, like most couples, struggled with attachment issues, connection issues, and communication issues. It was with her book, “Hold Me Tight”, and the lessons I learned from her directly in 2019 during trainings in Toronto, that I was able to repair, reconnect, and rebuild with my husband. And to eventually expand our family to include two beautiful children.
