My name is Fatima Noorali and I hold a Bachelor Degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from University of Windsor, Ontario. I’m currently on my way of earning a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology. Also, I have certification in Life Skills Coaching and Retail Management.
Currently, I work in the Employment Counselling field where I continuously work with At-risk youth in the community. My work includes needs and risk assessment, contracting, implementation, and follow-up as it pertains to employment/vocational goals and other needs. Also, I frequently recruit employers, seek job placement opportunities, identify and contact new employers, develop training and career plans and facilitate workshops. I am continuously in charge of outreaching to the community in order to help the Youth in finding employment or help them with their short and long term goals. Moreover, my work also include in supervising placement students in job development, facilitation, case management, intake procedure, and referral process. I have a strong passion to help the community to build a healthier future. Apart from this, I assist clients who have mental health, come from low income neighbourhood, low family support, no income, lack of education or training resources.
Apart from this, in my leisure time I love to paint or anything artsy. This is my way of distressing and feel connected to myself. I am a very artsy person so it shows in my work as well. Sometimes, with all of life’s responsibilities, I forget that I need and deserve down time and self-care. Therefore, I take even a few minutes on a regular basis to devote to a hobby that can uplift my spirit. And, with painting, I have the additional benefit of being left with something beautiful.
Lastly, I have immense passion in counselling since it works closely with personal empowerment, hope, overcoming of demoralization caused by social stigma, acceptance of life, personal insight, life skills, wellness, and a greater degree of self-awareness and understanding of yourself and others.

My name is Neda Brasanac and I hold a Bachelor Degree in Psychology from the University of Novi Sad, Serbia. I’m currently on my way of earning a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology on the same faculty.
During and after my studies I was involved in a number of Serbian and European projects with an aim to promote mental health among different age groups and, through education, help them better cope with obstacles and life transitions. Counselling with youth and planning and running workshops are two areas I am most passionate about and have the most experience with.
I’m currently focused on three fronts:
– I am on my way of becoming a certified psychotherapist in Serbia through psychotherapy educational program in Integrative-Transactional approach
– I work as a psychotherapist under supervision in Counselling Center for Youth in Novi Sad, Serbia.
I use various psychotherapy approaches and techniques based on the main problem and on client’s needs. I approach every client as a unique individual that, facing different challenges in life, developed certain patterns of thoughts and behaviours the best they could in given circumstances. When circumstances change, these patterns don’t work anymore and the client becomes anxious, lost, frustrated, angry, and, most of all, stuck. That’s where the client feels the need for help and support to go forward the most, and where psychotherapist lands their hand on.
For me, psychotherapy session is a safe space where clients can get to know themselves better, explore their patterns of thoughts and behaviours, find and express their authentic selves, and learn new ways to cope with challenges. It is a space for growth, development and change, a space freed from pressures of “musts”.
– I am also a writer and content creator in Psychology niche. I write online content, such as blog posts, social media posts, newsletters, etc. on different topics related to psychology, counselling, and psychotherapy.
I believe that knowledge is something to be shared and used to help people, and that is what I aim to do with my online content – to keep people’s attention while discussing important stuff. You can read some of my writings here.
